The panda corydoras is one of the most adorable fish in the hobby, its white body with black patches over the eyes and dorsal fin immediately recalls a giant panda. Like all corydoras, they are social bottom-dwellers that must be kept in groups of 6+. ⚠️ Panda corydoras prefer cooler water than most tropical fish (18–24°C); they struggle in warm tanks above 26°C. Use fine sand substrate to protect their delicate barbels. They are excellent scavengers but should receive dedicated sinking foods.
